Our Discover Alpacas course on Saturday was fun with some really interesting people. As usual I produced a fish pie and a fruit crumble that seemed to go down well. It has to be simple as I haven’t got time to chat about alpacas and cook . The alpacas had dried out a bit after the torrential rain but were still pretty damp. It is such a shame as they look so beautiful when dry.
I read the piece about Bill Roache, the only original member of the Coronation Street still there, and a crazed Granada Reports item came flooding back. We had this voting system and asked the question ‘Should Ken and Dierdre stay together’ hmm this was a news programme but what the hell. The producer in the gallery (moi) had to sit on the phone waiting for the guys at the other end to get the answer out of the computer, ridiculous but fun. I have no idea what the answer was.
