We are setting up an Alpaca Fibre Arts Village at the British Alpaca Futurity at the NEC on March 16 &17 2012. We hope that lots of people will take tables or trade stands to display and sell alpaca fibre products, tops, yarn, fleeces and so on. Jean Field is motoring on this one too and we have quite a few bookings already. We have a good sized area set aside for us at Hall 3A and there will be lots of activities going on. Yesterday we went up to the NEC for a Futurity planning meeting that went swimmingly (lunch was very tasty too). I met up with the marketing and press people, all a lot of fun, so it was very encouraging. Good thing we went yesterday because the Top Gear Live and the Custom Car shows kick off today. The place was full of vrooming noises and no doubt much talk of big ends and chrome, did you notice me expire immediately with boredom?
