The last day of grading for UK Alpaca, hurrah. All the big bags of graded fleece are parked in the barn waiting for the go signal from the guys who are going to scour it – then I’ll have an empty barn. We want to make a fleece room in part of the barn where we can store all our fleeces from the show team and animals that we want to sell. We saw some very smart fleece rooms in the USA and want to emulate them.
We have a very gentle Devon drizzle which I hope will mean that some mushroomns will appear and I won’t have to water the pot plants outside on the terrace. They are looking distinctly thirsty but the hose has a leak and one is in grave danger of getting soaked whenever the tap is turned on. Not good.
