Alpaca World magazine held a little Christmas dinner last night at the Exmoor Forest Inn in Simonsbath. None of us could quite believe that the magazine is seven years old. It was good fun, Heidi was on top form and the food wasn’t bad either. I managed to keep drinking lots of water and therefore feel quite normal today.
This is good as we have been giving all the weanlings ADE injections, trimming a few feet here and there and so on. Some of the weanlings are so full of beans they do not want to stand still to have a jab, can you blame them. I saw two roe deer yesterday, their white tails looked very white and big as they shot off over a maize field. And this morning in the barn there was a wren poddling about while I drank my tea.
