Alpacas are such fun to watch. I’ve been doing all the feeding and hay today and the alpacas are in a larky mood, kicking up their heels and dancing around. It must be the sunshine. Chas has been out all day with the sweeper as some of the fields looked pretty awful as we haven’t been able to clean them due to snow and serious frost, much tidier now. I’ve been putting the smal logs in my wood shed – there are lots in the yard Joshua waiting for you to split. I would have a go but there is no way you can use an axe with one hand safely. We had a nice day yesterday with some clients who wanted a husbandry day before they take delivery of their animals. So the ‘work experience’ pair had a go at injections, toenail trimming, body scoring, putting on halters etc. They were very good.
