That’s us, we are very well supplied with mud in Devon. Chas makes Andrew carry the hay across the fields – he is young and strong – to avoid making too many tracks. It is drier than it was but not dry enough to get the tractor out to clean the fields. We desperately want to do this as we both hate untidy fields. We did manage to get the outline of a show team organised  when it stopped raining but some refinement is needed unless we want to hire a lorry – we don’t.

The little trailer is down in Launceston getting a new metal floor to replace the wooden one. It has done incredibly well as it is 14 years old and been used a lot. Our mule is back with a new cylinder head. That’s a relief as the mule they leant us did not have power steering and the handbrake was dodgy, a beast to drive if you haven’t got massively strong arms.

I’m having a bad Monday with brain NOT at full power so I’m going to give up and go to the post instead. I can write stuff so fast when at full power that there is no point in even trying when I feel a bit hopeless. Tomorrow WILL be better.
