Andrew came back to work yesterday and presented us with a New Year present, two enormous bottles of Czech wine. They are the same shape as hock bottles with a very long neck only an awful lot bigger – we’ll need some company to drink those. Chas is slightly better and got up briefly this morning before going back to bed because he felt sick and weak BUT not as ill as he was, some progress.
As it has been dry some of the fields have had the attention of the sweeper and look a lot cleaner, thank goodness. The alpacas were only walking in the tracks where the mule had gone and therefore there are long lines of poo in the fields, much too messy for me. The fields at the bottom of the farm where the snow was very slow to melt are still a bit too wet, hopefully their time will come very soon and we will be restored to cleanliness.
