Wednesday was the day of our Futurity de-brief meeting. We held it as Bozedown and had a very productive day going through all the things that went well, what we need to change and so on. It was such a lovely day it was a shame we had to spend nearly all of it indoors. Still we all decided we should do it again, are we off our tiny trees? probably. Anyway it is the Friday and Saturday 26/27 February 2010 at Stoneleigh Park again.

Post meeting we went out to dinner with Mary Jo, Iain, Ken and Joy. Nice pub with Ken’s favourite local beer, good food, and cheerful conversation. Later that night we unfortunately overdosed on Iain’s excellent raspberry vodka…oh dear, very serious hangovers all Thursday partly assauged by frequent snacks, painkillers and a lot of fizzy water. By the evening the only thing we could face was porridge and an early night, poor old things.

Back home my camelias are flowering, the crocuses that Joshua and I planted are bursting out everywhere and look very pretty, the hens are sex mad and the alpacas look terrific. The youngsters in the show team that were cria shorn look perfect, if only we had weather like this at every show. Suddenly the fields on the way to Tiverton are full of cows turned out after a long winter indoors, I bet they are very happy cows.
