We did the final proofing of the Futurity catalogue at some horrid hour this morning, I hadn’t even had a cup of tea, dreadful. Anyway it is all finished now and should hit the doormats on January 28 or thereabouts. The car was covered in little bits of frozen snow this morning so I drove quite carefully to Tiverton to get some fish and the bottom of the lane where it meets the main road (well, we call it a main road) was still frozen so I slid down that quite elegantly I thought.
I am just recovering from three hypos I had yesterday, horribly low blood sugar. I had to sit in Morrisons car park eating a crunchie and chewing glucose tablets for ages until it came back up and I could go and get the cat biscuits. You then get a splitting headache afterwards, very dull. I never go anywhere without glucose tablets and/or apple juice, the little cartons made from concentrate are the best or if things are really desperate, a big can of coke. Like champagne the bubbles work fast.
