We were devastated to find the livestock trailer, our Kawasaki Mule and the brand new chain saw gone this morning. They had tried to take other things as well but failed thank goodness. Our neighbour down the lane had his Landrover Defender stolen with all the tools he uses in his forestry business at the same time. He is absolutely gutted and even more gutted that his four dogs did not bark. I can’t believe it really as our machinery was either in the barn or in the yard which is hidden from view. This causes us a big problem in getting round the farm with hay and feed and we are supposed to be showing at the Heart of England Show this weekend.Oh dear…at least the police have been, very sympathetic, all our stuff is probably on the way to Ireland!

Sorry to hear that – it happened to a client of mine who farms near Cullompton – it seems they go around collecting the vehicle, the trailer and the equipment successively from farm to farm in an area.
