Leo sent me this crazy picture of CME Lysander on a cake, a bit too much cream for me but
a lot of fun.
We have been halter training today with a load of very soggy junior alpacas. This is stage 2 when we walk them in the barn up and down the pens close to their mates. At this point some are appalling and some are not bad. The bad ones take on that camel look and stand there refusing to move. There is one who is a wacky little jumper. He jumps along instead of walking and seems to think that is quite fun. Wrong. I am hoping it will stop drizzling by the weekend so we can walk outside. Chas refuses to get wet.
The grass has started growing now and we have been offered some new fields that haven’t had animals on them for ages. The girls are going to love it.
