Our alpacas did well at the Devon County Show winning four championships and four reserve championships. CME Priam II, a 13 month old fawn male, took Show Champion Huacaya with CME Constance, a junior fawn female taking Reserve Champion. In the shorn fleece classes CME Nimrod was Show Champion Huacaya and CME Maia Reserve Champion. CME Orlando was the White Champion and CME Lyra Light Champion.
All marvellous and the weather wasn’t bad too. I thought we might be fated as Jay Holland was the judge and last season he appeared to be The Rainmaker at most shows he judged but we only had a couple of showers on the day of Orange warnings and it was boiling on the Saturday.
