Just delivered the first tranche of family to the station, on their way back to London after Christmas and New Year. It is always very sad to see them go but two sons remain for a bit longer. The house is slowly returning to normal particularly now that the very large number of bottles have gone in to the Devon bottle bank.
We are doing all the alpaca stuff that there will be no time for when the season hots up. So loads of updating on Herdmaster on the laptop; breeding records; show winnings and so on. Most of last year’s cria have to be registered with the British Alpaca Society and that means I have to find squillions of classical names as we are Classical MileEnd Alpacas. Quite a lot of interest at the moment and we have sold two of our high end females, one to France, the other locally, over the holiday.
