All the hedges around here are discarding their untidy look now that everyone is out hedging. Our road down the hill looks very smart and marvellously wide, almost a motorway ha ha. Even the track to the farm has got a lot bigger although sadly the neighbour’s many tons of stone have not eliminated the potholes, they just reappear every time it chucks it down. The smell of cut hedges is wonderful, I have to stand around sniffing. We are in thick mist and drizzle so it has been dark all day, the animals are shadowy figures out there. So different from yesterday when we had sunshine and dry animals for a very hilarious Discover Alpacas course.
