Delighted with our results at the Honiton show where two of our Dynamics progeny did well CME Orlando being Show Champion Huacaya and CME Agnes Champion Brown Female. Our first and only cria last year from Ntherough was Beige Champion and the Jaquinto and Tulaco Centurion progeny got a few championships and reserves as well. The show had been postponed to the end of August but we still slid in and had to be pulled to the proper parking place by a tractor. Luckily it was a beautiful day so we drove out under our own steam.
We were clearing out some old hay from the sick bay and Chas put his hand on something sharp. It turned out to be a hedgehog with six babies, they were so sweet but have all gone now. Joshua has started his Masters in Holland and this week was on a field trip with a loquacious Prof who wears socks and sandals and Never stops talking. The students are shattered as they are up at 6am and then out in the wind and rain looking for worms and shellfish. Josh says he is used to it as we have spent years of our lives tramping up and down windy beaches looking for shells or fossils.
