Chas has been playing with his new IGG kit which arrived from the USA a while ago. He decided to test the plasma from the old boys we had just spun and found the IGG was 1300 which he thought was pretty good. The vet has taught him how to take blood from the cria so he can start testing them to see if the plasma works and how much you really need to give. Up until now we have always been nervous about taking blood and left it up to the vet.
Tom and Matt are coming down for the weekend as it is Thomas’s birthday on Saturday and they fancy a bit of rural idyll rather than London parties. Sadly the vintage mini will not be coming too as someone drove into it when it was parked so it is at the menders. Thomas was born in 1977 so he is quite old and of course his poor mother is positively ancient. I have still got the little label he had so I know he was born at 01.40 and Alex’s label says he was born at 1812, good time to arrive, not sure there was any very loud music. And I found the first scan of Joshua taken at Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport.
I have done a deal with Kyle – he tidies up his bathroom and I will clean it in honour of the Tom arrival. Our bathroom keeps getting invaded by those tiny thunder flies and lots of Daddy Long Legs – I haven’t found a way of removing them yet that doesn’t involve the loss of a leg or wing and ultimately death.
Alex A –
I’m coming too! I’ll see you in a few hours.
xx
Josh –
Thomas is indeed quite old! Happy Birthday Tom!
