Well, well my multi tasking had a serious flaw. I shot some video footage, picked loads of blackberries and had a snooze. However I discovered this morning when I opened up the digital camera that I had neglected to put a card into it. Hells bells and buckets of blood.
Two more cria have arrived, a white Paris boy who looks good and a huge fawn girl by Centurion. The big girl is very slow, I had to stand her up several times yesterday to make sure she was suckling. I’m sure shr is OK and her mother has had two other cria who all grew on very well.
The television adverts on Horse & Country TV started yesterday and the I want alpacas website has had a good number of hits so that’s excellent. Joshua emailed from La Paz, it took 30 hours by bus to get there, he’s desperate to see the ads as he is in one of them with his friend Lucy.
Chas has decided we should take part in village life…so tonight we are going to a Summer Concert at Cruwys Morchard Parish Hall to raise funds for a new one. I shall have to try hard not to make a run for it.
