A great day for us at the North Somerset Show with our six strong show team all coming away with an award. Our brown intermediate female and white junior male were both champions whilst the black intermediate female, white intermediate female and light junior female were all reserve champions. All these winners were the progeny of our white stud male Artwork BR Macchiato. Our white junior female Cecily missed out on a sash but was second in her class.
Normally all the exhibitors are dodging the rain at the show but this year there was a chilly wind and quite a few ominous looking clouds but not a drop of rain.
North Somerset has one of the first big sheep shearing competitions of the season with plenty of world champions competing. We can hear the commentator from the alpaca area and he is brilliant non stop and extremely funny. On the other side of us is a very big tug of war contest for women and men with quite a bit of clay shooting in the background. An experience not to be missed.
