Here is our new wood-burner, installed yesterday into the office. This should put an end to the days of typing in gloves, a scarf, coats, over-trousers, and in Chas’s case a hat. The cat will be happy too and the dog loves chewing logs, a disadvantage as the office then looks as if someone has been scattering bits of wood everywhere instead of marvellously warm and smart.
