Go on, sing it. Glorious sunny day here today, blue sky with the frost lying on the ground all day in some parts of the farm. The alpacas are dry and gorgeous. We made a brave attempt to photograph our up and coming young stud males. Paris, who won two Show Championships this year, was as badly behaved as usual. The other two Julius and Adonis were OK. We are sending Paris down to Julie Taylor Browne, who does Cameldynamics, for re-training otherwise he might end up on the barbecue (not really, honestly).

I’ve just come back from the supermarket where Christmas really has broken out with bloody Slade blaring away on the tannoy and frozen turkeys everywhere. I even saw someone driving away with a Christmas tree on the roof, imagine the number of needles on his floor by December 25.

  1. You’re lucky to get a frost, all we get is bloody rain down here with saturated alpacas, the thought of wet, cold, winter AND Christmas, one has lost the enthusiasm!
