This is Classical MileEnd Paris looking all dry and beautiful in the field today. He was Champion Junior Male at the BAS Spring Show and is a real looker. He is off to Devon County Show tomorrow but as the weather forecast is dire will no doubt be rather bedraggled when he hits the show ring.

John and I have been grading again today, not so fast as we were doing all the small farms, which means a lot more weighing. So it was a 250 kilo day. We haven’t found anything exciting in the fleeces so far. In other years our haul has included a mummified nmouse that we sat on the shelf to watch the grading, a big brass picture hook, the keys to a flat and a bar of coal tar soap. We were hoping for buried treasure but such is life.
