I spotted the first primrose around here today on the lane. We were bringing the intermediate boys back to see if they will make this year’s show team and there it was, all springlike and wonderful. It was relatively easy to sort these out as there are only six to choose from them. Yesterday when we got to the male weanlings we lost it and just stared at them hopelessly unable to work out which was best. Have to have another go later today. It is a beautiful day, cold and sunny, no rain, hurrah. I am more or less better but still feel very tired and unable to get up very early. Bed is just too warm!
