Sorry about the gloom but you will be pleased to know the Hebditch mood has lifted somewhat. I blame the rain and today is is occasional rather than incessant.
I watched Hugh’s documentary last night about all the fish chucked away at sea, it was quite inspiring so today I joined up on the Fishfight website. Even though he possesses an extraordinarily difficult name to spell and can be quite irritating, he has a point and maybe we can make the politicians in the EU do something. I’m a big fan of our local fish, particularly gurnard, mackerel and dabs. Our fish man from Brixham invariably has plenty of these and they are cheap too. Gurnard for President!

Brill is brilliant.Now is the time to use Seville oranges with fish. i cant get on with Gurnard though. perhaps i should try again.?
