We awarded ourselves a walk along the beach at Charmouth today after scanning lots of animals for West Dorset Alpacas and Marshwood Vale Alpacas. It was a beautiful morning, blue sky, 13 degrees, lots of waves and definitely worth it. In between we bought three female alpacas, two blacks and a fawn, as we need a few more. Then I awarded myself a second treat, a whiz round the farm shop near Axminster. This is a cracking shop full of very good French things to eat plus plenty of local produce as well. They have those lovely crisps made from beetroot and parsnips so we gorged on them all the way home. Chas broke off to wolf down quite a large packet of nougat as well – hmm sweet tooth or just plain greedy. You decide!
