My blue eyed white girl, an alpaca with attitude, had another spotty boy cria yesterday three weeks early. I have put a black over her two years running in the hope of a grey and each time she has delivered a mad spotty boy with brown eyes. This one is a bit of a titch and we discovered it on the way out yesterday afternoon when we were walking around the farm with some people who might be interested in buying alpacas. Its head was still in the bag but we broke it sharpish and out he came. He’s a very vocal cria calling all the time but a bit weak on his pins at the moment. We gave him plasma and kept them in all night and we’ll probably bring them in again tonight as the rain has started again.
The thin girl with stomach ache is much the same so the vet is coming sometime today to have a look at her so we’ll see what he advises.
I have loads of different female fields to bring up as there are a few spit offs to do with Tulaco Centurion and Jaquinto begore they depart for a fortnight in Hampshire and West Sussex respectively. Then, this afternoon, Chas is off delivering two groups of females to their new owners.
