It is so still here, not a bit of wind and sunny too. People were walking around in sandals whilst the boot of our car was piled up with wet weather gear. No doubt it will come in useful this week. We are right on the harbour front and this morning I saw oystercatchers and a cormorant fishing for their breakfast while a gull walked up and down the sea wall burbling away to itself. The house is very chic with a baby grand for Chas to play and lots of very enviable antiques. The living room is on the first floor so you get great views over to the Roseland Peninsula and there is a sweet little terrace garden out the back. Parked out in the bay is what looks like a giant floating hotel, god knows how many storeys high, I’ve never seen a liner like that before.
