Today we have a big UK Alpaca meeting as this is our end of year. This is a company that makes alpaca yarns from the fleeces of alpacas bred in Britain. Most alpaca yarns are made in Peru where 85% of the world’s alpacas live but ours are all British. I’m not that keen of meetings as they do tend to be dull and we all sit there eating too many biscuits. We have done a stock check on all the yarn, cones, bumps, fleece etc etc – it took a couple of days to complete it. The accounts are churning out of the printer; all we have to do is decide next year’s strategy – ha! not that simple.
