Our two fields of weanlings – 23 girls and 17 boys seem to have settled down now and stopped moaning. They have clocked that they come in to the ramp every day for breakfast and are all eating their hard feed. Some don’t get to it when still with their mothers as they get such filthy looks from the adults. The two fields they are in have been rested for months and are full of grass. Of course they have hay too but have not really started piling in to that yet.
