Here we are covered in white stuff for the first time this year and hopefully the last although as it is supposed to be very cold tonight I fear the snow is not going anywhere fast. It snowed all of yesterday and at night so we brought all the weanlings in for the night. They were very warm and cosy on their beds of straw with unlimited hay. The remaining mums and babies stayed out in their field on the grounds that the cria, all weanable, had their mums to keep them warm and plenty of hot milk. They were all fine this morning and seem to think the snow is a bit of a lark. They will get fed up with it, just like us.
