This is the second day that we have found ourselves in a white world, no sky just white mist. It feels very odd and adds to the general awfulness of outside. We have a slow, very slippery thaw so the fields look a bit grim and to make matters worse the water is off. No one has told us anything about this but presumably it is the water board. Good thing I didn’t have all the machinery going in the house. There is the dreadful prodspect of NO TEA, we’ll have to stick to alcohol. This is D Day for Alex’s dissertation for his Masters. It has to be handed in before ten oclock tomorrow in London. We have to go to Tiverton this afternoon to the print shop as two copies have to go to the university plus an electronic one. Last minute revisions are happening as we speak…
